woes, worries and options
went to bid fiona goodbye yesterday night at the airport... another friend going off to down under for a university education. Some of the guys also mentioned going there for their studies after their ord. I couldn't help wondering what would i end up doing after ord. I also couldn't help it when the thought of fiona would be back with a degree after even before i ord crossed my mind. The truth just sucks doesn't it?
This is clearly a government conspiracy to brainwash financially-strapped polytechnic guys in the army so that when they ord, they would forget whatever they learn, couldnt make it to university and then forever work as slaves for jc students. We need cheap labour don't we? thats where we come in. (Don't mind me.. i'm just creating a lighter moment out of my woes :)
hee.. long time haven't went to the airport since the last time where we sent audrey off to scotland for attachment (lucky you!!).. looking at all the cities flipping on the big black thingie (i dunno what is it called) or on the tv monitors.. i wonder when would i have a chance to take a plane overseas. (no malaysia pls) .. SAFPU... PLS GO TO TAIWAN FOR TRAINING!! AARGGHH .. let me have an all expenses paid trip to taiwan on the account that i never took a plane before? :)
Woke up rather early today at 6.30am which is pretty unusual. But went to snooze mode and woke up an hour later :( Hurriedly went down to the petrol kiosk to get a copy of today's straits times to cut out the entry form for the Mazda6 lucky draw. My mind nearly went into the frenzy trying to solve the last sentence of the riddle and in the end found the answer on the internet :) duh.. Hurriedly pieced and pasted the alphabets that i have so painstakenly collected over the last 2 weeks and hurried to the location of the Mazda6 which is east coast park!! You should have seen the sea of people there.. oh no.. more competitors :( in the end, the car was won by a lady.. *sob sob* and she already has a car!! crapz.. maybe they should make lucky draws only for poor people. *grumble* its just like people turning up in mercedes to collect free textbooks for their children. They should have a law to ban such people from this events... *evil*
Anyway.. i believe god has a plan for me and he is working out my plan for me in ways that i will never know. Amen :)
